Senior Production Test Engineer (Code: SPTE)
CarrierComm seeks an experienced Production Test Engineer with strong leadership and communications skills to join our production team.  Experience with high volume production of circuit card and systems level products for communications systems applications is ideal.

Responsibilities:

• Manage production test systems and databases.
• Manage test processes for circuit card and system level testing in-house and offshore.
• Manage and report on production metrics (test throughput, yields, failures, and test times)
• Create test plans to ensure product compliance with appropriate test specifications.
• Specify, source, setup, and maintain production test infrastructure.
• Manage NPI test transition for new products.
• Maintain and upgrade existing production test systems, to minimize production downtime.
• Coordinate test interface between in-house production, offshore production, and Engineering
• International travel approximately 25% time to manufacturing locations

Qualifications:

• BS/MS in a technical discipline (Electrical Engineering preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in a high volume production test environment development and maintenance
• Recent hands-on experience developing test solutions using VB and MSSQL database ( Labview experience also desirable. )
• Familiarity with ICT solutions (fixtures and program) and methods to maximize coverage.
• Understanding of testing methodologies, including Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and System Testing
• SPC test data collection and analysis
• Strong project and resources management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• International business travel experience (including Asia)
• Management experience for small engineering group is desireable.
