Senior Production Test Development Engineer (Code: SPTDE)
CarrierComm seeks an outstanding Production Test Development Engineer with a strong production test background to join our production test development team.

Responsibilities:

• Support existing production test systems and databases
• Develop new test databases and systems for circuit card and system level testing in-house and offshore.
• Train test technicians in the testing and trouble shooting of new equipment and systems.
• Create test plans to ensure product compliance with appropriate engineering test specifications.
• Specify, source, setup, and maintain production test infrastructure
• Design test fixtures
• Analyze, troubleshoot and perform root cause failure analysis on production test systems. Drive issues to closure and institute preventive measures as possible.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years experience in the design of digital communication radio systems. Position requires a BSEE degree (MS preferred). Good customer and team interface skills required. Must be able to work in a hands-on lab/integration environment on a variety of challenging hardware platforms. Experience should include:

• BS/MS in a technical discipline (Computer Science/Engineering preferred)
  5+ years of experience in production test environment development and maintenance
  Expert knowledge of one or more of the following areas, as well as working familiarity with the entire set:
  • .NET (C#/VB)
  • Programming Skills in Php/Perl/Java
  • MySQL , MS Access, or other Relational Database development/maintenance
  • Networking Protocols (TCP/IP, SNMP, FTP)
  • ATE (Automated Test Equipment)
• Understanding of testing methodologies, including Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and System Testing
• Strong project and resources management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
