Program Manager and Customer/Partner Support Engineer (Code: PMCSE)
CarrierComm seeks a program manager and hands on customer support engineer to assist customers and partners with technical and programmatic interactions and support of digital communications radios and network hardware.

Basic Functions and Role:

  • Support customer/partner program and account with business orientation and focus
  • Prepare program summary and status

Responsibilities:

  • Support customer/partner program and account with business orientation and focus. Prepare program summary and status, provide customer/partner communications.
  • Perform verification testing of pre-production hardware and software
  • Replicate technical issues reported by customer/partners and end-users to assist with debug and technical issue resolution
  • Perform technical writing including documentation and application notes

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years experience working with digital communication systems and/or network hardware
  • BSEE degree required
  • Good communication, customer and team interface skills required. Must be able to work in a hands-on lab environment on a variety of challenging hardware platforms.
  • Cross functional experience working with customer/partners and internal departments (engineering, production, business operations)
  • Networking and network protocols including Ethernet, ARP, TCP/IP, UDP, Spanning-Tree Protocol, SNMP, HTTP, Telnet, SSH, FTP
  • Telecommunications including E1, T1, Sonet/SDH
  • Network management systems
  • Wireless communications
  • Technical writing and experience in preparing complex technical reports
  • Experience using MS Project and MS PowerPoint tools
  • Customer service and support
