Assistant Program Manager and Customer/Partner Support Engineer (Job Code: APME)
CarrierComm seeks an assistant program manager and customer support engineer to assist customer/partners with technical and programmatic interactions and support of digital communications radios and network hardware. The selected candidate will be expected to:

• Business function and role

• Perform verification testing of pre-production hardware and software
• Replicate technical issues reported by partners and end-users to assist with debug and technical issue resolution
• Perform technical writing including documentation and application notes

Minimum 3 years experience working with digital communication systems and/or network hardware. Position requires a BSEE degree. Good communication, customer and team interface skills required. Must be able to work in a hands-on lab environment on a variety of challenging hardware platforms. A qualified candidate’s experience should include:

• Cross-functional experience working with customer/partners and internal departments (engineering, production, business operations)
• Networking and network protocols including Ethernet, ARP, TCP/IP, UDP, Spanning-Tree Protocol, SNMP, HTTP, Telnet, SSH, FTP
• Telecommunications including E1, T1, Sonet/SDH
• Networks management systems
• Wireless communications
• Technical writing and experience in preparing complex technical reports
• Experience using MS Project and MS PowerPoint tools
• Customer service and support
